Uckfield Community First Responders are dedicated volunteers from the local Uckfield community, trained by the South East Coast Ambulance Service (SECAmb) to respond swiftly to 999 emergency calls. Mobilised by the ambulance control teams, we operate within our community, allowing us to reach the scene of a medical emergency in a matter of minutes—sometimes while the caller is still on the phone. Our presence in the community enables us to provide critical support right where it’s needed most.

A commitment to preverving life, whatever it takes. That’s what unites all CFRs. Whether they’re providing an essential first response to a cardiac arrest, or helping a person who haas fallen in their home . It’s what they do.

We are trained and carry equipment to provide Basic Life Support and can treat patients suffering from a range of conditions. On the arrival of an ambulance, we handover our findings and patient observations to the crew and continue to work with them, ensuring the patient receives the best possible care. As a proud partner of the South East Coast Ambulance Service, we are committed to serving Uckfield with dedication and professionalism.
